DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with our internal business associates to understand the best technology investments to address their processes and concerns.
  • Create documentation to address business requirements based on the viewpoints of each department in the workplace.
  • Translate business requirements to technology plans and budgets
  • Review vendor products and services to ensure all technologies properly integrate together
  • Responsible for the successful transition of the project to operations
  • Manage the IT System & Network Administration team and IT Tech Support Team to make sure all IT systems are functioning well and the team promptly response to the need of our users.
  • Develop processes for problem management and resolution that can return services to normal without delay
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures related to network hardware and software acquisition, use, support, security, and backup.
  • Develops and implements design, configuration, installation, and maintenance of network hardware, software, and telecommunications services.
  • Complete ownership of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure including:
    • Windows server 2019
    • Exchange 2019 server
    • M365 and MS-Azure
    • VMware
    • Veeam back up
    • Firewall (FortiGate)
    • Switch (Aruba)
    • Wireless (AP)
    • PBX
    • CCTV camera
    • DPLC
    • Network Design, write proposal, budget plan and fix asset.
    • QuickBooks
    • Problem solving
    • Development, testing and staging environments for software development
  • Oversee all Tech Support activities including:
    • Interaction with users to help resolve IT-related issues and provide answers in a timely manner
    • Development and maintenance of infrastructure to host centralized system management tools.
    • Research, procurement, installation, configuration, analysis, and debugging of peripherals such as printers, scanners, keyboards, etc.
    • Perform complex diagnostics and resolve networking, hardware, and software problems
    • Inventory management of all equipment and software licenses

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in management
  • 10+ years of hands on technical experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of system administration techniques for Windows
  • Advanced knowledge of system administration of Exchange 2013 and Windows servers.
  • Proven knowledge of common network and authentication protocols/technologies such as TCP/IP, NAT, VPN, LDAP, Microsoft Active Directory, NAS, NFS, etc.
  • Knowledge of IPsec VPN configuration
  • Excellent knowledge of Firewalls and Switches
  • Desirable knowledge of VMware, EMC Storage, Storage Virtualization
  • Proven experience in installing, configuring, and updating application software
  • Advanced knowledge of backup policies, practices, and technologies
  • Knowledge of both hardware and software firewall construction techniques, and experience with installing and testing network equipment and cabling
  • Experience with computer peripheral setup, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with server operating systems sufficient to interpret and troubleshoot issues
  • Must be able to travel to assigned sites to complete work
